 Survival island

Should Survival Island become an official wolf game that is done on a regular basis and you can brag about your island ect?

-~-Survival Island-~-


Many of you know it as 'Shipwrecked', however, it has taken on much more of an RPG aspect. This will be the official rules list that our clan plays by.(becouse im sure other people have their own variations.)Any input or opinions would be great,till then, this will be a relatively short post. For now, here are some basic ideas:

Survival(hard)-
*no hovering
*use ONLY what is available
*no grid
*no corner edit
*no spawning any materials/items
*no popit curser
*no gluing objects till enough time has been spent researching
*nothing other than simple gathering and placing can be done till research has been progressed

BorderlineSurvival(medium)-
*no hovering
*Party host can have a little bit of godly powers(ex:can place and decide whats in a treasure chest that is found)
*when smoothing/cutting/ect. materials you harvest, dont ex: corneredit more than you obtained(say you found 1 grid of wood, dont, when nobody is looking, expand it out several grid)
*when using popit curser, keep objects close to ground and make grunting sounds like you pushing it
*before researching, you cant have anything like:
a furnace, a spinning wheel, a pottery wheel, seeds/farming,ect(no luxuries or complex items till researched)

Creative(easy)-
*build a damn island and have fun
*just make sure your still roleplaying
Researching
The basic concept of research is to slow the development of your new colony so you dont get board in 10 min after youve built freeking walmart.
to research you must:
-stay in area set as the research area for a reasonable amount of time before you can say you have an idea on a new thing
-have:
-a flat space 7.5-15grid wide NO LARGER NO SMALLER
-a workbench
-supplies that whatever you researching requires
-a shelf with said supplies
-a reasonably bright light source

I wouldn't play it on a regular basis, cause I'll get bored too easily. But if someone wanted to help me *cough* Crifnud , mattman111, lolliechocolate , and anyone else who would like too help. *cough* Oh uhh, pardon me. I've started working on a top down survival island replacement, basically top down, you move walls into place after making it, like if you chop down a tree you get 3 logs, each log makes a small wall, you also get leaves. I could also make a central hub type thing where you can activate "Research" Which will let you make certain things after x amount of time. That way there is no chance of cheating, and you have a wider range of build, AND we could publish it as a wolf level. Only thing is we would need to hide our logic so that we can make it copyable, so they can save their progress. In other words make it so if it's tampered with you can't use it. Obviously someone would be able to find out how to get past, but we gotta make sure that some random noob can't. Then also this way we would be able to make a lot bigger of a house, just not as many floors, but that wouldn't be possible like that, and either way I think it's better like that even if you can't make multiple floors because you would have to sacrifice 1/3 of your house's thickness in order to put stairs. And also on a side note, mattman if you want I made a good top down thing that shoots, has clips, grenades, health, etc. Cause you were making the zombie shooter. It's actually the original and I took stuff off and added other stuff for survival island stuff. Only thing is if you want we might want to add a reload animation, rather then just sound.

Now that I look at this it's really long, Thx All who actually read it all. Razz
